Coffee and Cards Jan 2019 Butterfly Thanks

When you become a demonstrator you get a magazine every quarter with great ideas and this card was one of them. You will love how simple it is to do the butterflies with the punch that matches this set.

Take a scrap piece of Whisper White and stamp 3 sets of butterflies in Memento Ink. Then stamp the bottoms in Full strength Grapefruit grove and the Tops in stamped off Grapefruit Grove.

Tip: I placed my second set the color stamps on top of my already stamped black image and then picked them up with my block. Perfect placement

Next stamp the "bodies" with Memento Ink

Tips: The fat side is the top and place more black to the bottom than the top as this is how the punch lines up.

Once you have your butterflies stamped punch them out and glue to your 4 7/8 x 3 3/8 piece of Whisper White CS. Use Tombow glue.

Pick your words and stamp with choice of ink. Here I have used Lemon Lime Twist. Use scrap Whisper White and trim/cut out.

Then cut 2 pieces of coordinating ribbon and place on the card.

Add your word piece over the ribbon with Dimensionals.

Add card front to note card base with either Dimensionals or Tombow glue.

Then add sequins and Wink of Stella.
