July Two Step Class July 30: Color Block

I just love how you can switch this card up to any color combination and you can use your scraps! Thanks once again to Brian King for the inspiration.

Fold case base of 4 1/4 x 11 Pretty Peacock in half.

Stamp with Versamark the background pieces.

Stamp words with Mango Melody.

Add all layers to the card base. Use dimensionals for the words. You can use scraps of any size but here are the original dimensions.

Base 4 1/4 x 11
White 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
Peacock 3 3/8 x 4 5/8
Old Olive 3 1/4 x 4 1/2
Mango 1 3/4 x 1 1/2
White 2 1/2 x 1
Peacock 2 1/2 x 1 1/4
White word block cut to fit words of choice.

The Step-up card uses clear embossing powder over the Versamark for the background images and also uses the Stamparatus to stamp over the Mango words with Versamark and then clear embossing. If you use this technique you can clear emboss with any of our colors!
