July Two Step Class July 30: Flower power

Img 1075

Thanks to Brian King for reminding me how versatile our punches can be. Such a great way to get depth with out too much thickness. Have to keep the post office happy:)

These will be the basic instructions for the "easy" card the step-up card instructions will be at the end.

Take you vanilla note card fold in half.

Punch your daisy in the middle of your 3 x 3 piece of Vanilla CS. Then use the big shot to cut the 2 5/8" square using stitched shapes dies.

Punch the circle from your piece of Petal Pink.

Now Layer your Petal Pink (2 7/8")
with your Rococo Rose (2 3/4")
and you stitched square Vanilla.

Punch a Rococo Rose Daisy from scrap and add on top of Vanilla piece with glue dots and offsetting it. To make a bigger bloom. Add the center circle with glue dots.

Stamp words with Black Ink onto the Crumb Cake piece of 3 3/8 x 4 7/8. Then add the flower piece with dimensionals. Add to Vanilla card base.

Stamp images inside if you wish.

To STEP UP card:
Use larger circle punch (1") and add words with Versamark ink and emboss with Black.

Also, stamp main words in Versamark and emboss with Black Powder.

Make sure to use the embossing buddy as I did not:(
