I could not post these until today, as my son was giving them out today. (and I'm hopeful some of his co-workers follow me)
When you kids get older parenting changes, he called me last week and needed 2 cards to make for the end of his internship. One as a joke and one to say thanks to his team. Now I know I have used some retired products, but you will still love the cards!
This is the first card, using an older tractor set and the new Happy Tails set, I wanted the words to read "our loss" not "your loss" so when I colored it with my marker I left off the "y"
Note here how you can save paper and get the layered circles from your background layers.
This was the second card, I pulled out my old crystal effects to give the card the shinny look, and the best thing is Crystal Effects is coming back in the Holiday Catalog with a new twist, you will love it!
The Crystal Effects helped keep my words down and added an interesting effect.
Happy Stamping,
Carmen
I just love how you can switch this card up to any color combination and you can use your scraps! Thanks once again to Brian King for the inspiration.
Thanks to Brian King for reminding me how versatile our punches can be. Such a great way to get depth with out too much thickness. Have to keep the post office happy:)
