Insta Post step up

This was my stepped-up card from my post on Sept 1.  I added the postage stamp punch that goes with this set Festive Post.

I think if I would make this card again, I would switch the top and bottom stamps.  I would place the bats and the words on top and October 31 on the bottom.

Comfort and Hope

Here I used some vellum leaves from the Aug Paper Pumpkin to create a background.  I laid down the leaves and stamped over the with Moonlight Madness and the herringbone stamp.  That did not give me the look I wanted so I left the leave down and sponged on more ink.  I liked this look and ran with it.  I used the leaves I had used as a mask and clean new ones. Finished it off with a white circle (left from the paper pumpkin) and a Moonlight circle.  I love the "string" stamp in this set!   There are also some great words in this set!   Great for simple or advanced cards.

Insta Post #simplestamping

Well, I almost missed it but I got my August #simplestamping card posted on Aug 30!

Thanks to Brian King for the inspiration.

I used DSP from In Good Taste the Basic Gray piece served my purpose well.   It gave so much texture.  With our clear stamps, this grid type of stamping is so simple.

The sets I used were Festive Post and Itty Bitty Greetings.

Basic Black ink.   The DSP is 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 and the white is 3 9/16 and 5 1/4.

Fall Sympathy

I was asked to make some Sympathy Cards for a friend.  I made 10 of these in about an hour.   I love the new tree stamp, Life is Beautiful you can use it in so many ways!

I did use some of my favorite retired paper but you could get the same effect with our new plaid paper, Plaid Tidings.

Use all your scraps and more

Here I used the tissue from the Aug paper pumpkin, a leftover tag, some extra ribbon, and wait for it......

An Oreo wrapper!

Yep!  Don't overlook your trash, especially when it is shiny!

I stamped the snowflakes in Pacific Point on white CS and then on the tissue so it had more depth.

I embossed the words with silver and used the new set For Unto Us, the perfect words for your Christmas Cards.

3D items to cards

I finally got to my box of todo's Sunday!  So the next few posts will come from that box.  Here I had made this flower using the hot-air balloon punch and the magnolia dies.   I placed it on this card with a simple background and words from Comfort and Hope a great new set in the big catalog.  I will not send this card out but hand it to a special friend.

SHHHH!

August Paper Pumpkin leftover and my supply stash, gave me 12 of these to deliver to my teacher friends around town.  I did not sign them, random acts of kindness make everyone feel better.   Do something for a friend today.
